Our Story
Young Brothers Hardwood Floors is a family-owned business founded by brothers Stephen and Matthew Young – fifth-generation Coloradans with a shared commitment to hard work, honesty, and true craftsmanship. We started the company in 2008 (officially launching in 2014) with a simple goal: to do things the right way, every time. Based in Westminster and serving the greater Denver and Boulder areas, we built our reputation one project at a time by sticking to that principle.
We didn’t grow up in the trades; we earned our place in this industry through grit, humility, and a constant thirst for knowledge. From day one, we’ve been dedicated to learning and improving our craft. Every project , whether it’s a modern condo in the city or a century-old Victorian home, is an opportunity for us to refine our techniques and deliver outstanding results. This mindset, combined with an eye for detail and a deep respect for our clients’ homes, is what sets us apart. We treat every floor like it’s in our own house and every client like a neighbor.
As brothers, we hold each other accountable to the highest standard, and we carry that same accountability into every job we take on. We believe in doing what we say we’ll do – and then some.
